My name is Travis and I am an avid MMORPG fan. The past 6 months have been really exciting with the release of WoW Cataclysm and FFXIV. Sadly FFXIV didn’t quite live up to it’s hype. Cataclysm also suffered from some serious “dumbing” down, so I was really thrilled when I discovered RIFT: Planes of Telara.

I’ve been playing Rift and it lives up to all of my wildest dreams for a MMORPG game. I’ve even cancelled my WoW account coz Rift just blows my mind.

For me, the part that totally rocks about Rift is the Classes and Callings. The game is so fluid and rich. It’s sick! I’m still buzzing from my latest dungeon raid and can’t wait to log into the game again.

You see, I’m a casual (but enthusiastic) gamer. So, I don’t really have all that much free time to spare since I have a day job. And I really hate wasting time when I can find a way to experience a game to it’s fullest. While doing some research online on Rift questing, classes and callings, I came across the Xerxes Guide. I decided to get the guide coz I have no qualms about investing in any hobbies I’m passionate about.

As it turns out, the Xerxes Rift Guide is a really good guide. It’s met my all my expectations and $37 is a really great price for a lifetime membership site run by elite pro gamers. You should read my review post below to find out more about what you’re going to get with the guide before buying it.

Here’s My Only Complaint About The Xerxes Guide …

WARNING: The Xerxes Guide won’t teach you how to earn loads of Platinum in the game.

The Xerxes Guide is primarily a Leveling and Class Strategy Guide. All the information in the member’s area is very neatly organized and you will be able to give your feedback in each section if you have a question for the experts.

The Xerxes Rift Build Guide is especially great as you’ll get everything you need to know for getting the best specs for solo questing, dungeon raiding and Rift PvPing. You’ll get lots of helpful screenshots and detailed maps that can help your game out a lot. The strategies and tips for gameplay for every class are also very comprehensive, constantly updated and are carefully tested before they are published.

So, if you’re looking for a guide on how to earn lots of Platinum, you might want to opt for this guide instead: The RIFT Blueprint. The Rift Blueprint presently costs $47, so you might want to invest in the Xerxes Guide instead if making Platinum is not a big deal for you.

Xerxes Guide Review

Before you get the Xerxes Guide, I think it’s only fair that you know precisely what you are going to get…

I’ve been using the Xerxes Guide and like what I’ve seen so far. The Xerxes Guide is a very simple to understand step-by-step guide written by elite beta Rift gamers. Whether you’re rolling a Guardian or Defiant toon, is one of the best value for money game guides out there.

Here’s Why I think the Xerxes Guide Rocks..

rift guideAs you know, Rift is still kinda new. So, I am really happy to report that this guide is constantly updated by the elite players who are employed by Xerxes Guide. So the tips and strategies you get are always tried and tested before it gets to you.

There’s also NO FLUFF in the Xerxes Guide either. I know of another game guide which my buddy bought the other day – it’s just the standard game guide rehashed for unsuspecting players. Such a bummer!

So here’s the main sections you should look out for when you access the members area in the Xerxes Guide..

Xerxes Beginner’s Guide / Crash Course

There’s lots of interesting stuff here if you’re totally new to MMORPGs. You get to learn the fundamentals of good gameplay and how to use the User Interface (UI) of the game. For some, figuring out just how to start playing Rift can be such a pain. This part of the Xerxes Guide just gets rid of that learning curve for you. Everything on the basics and UI of Rift is explained clearly here.

You will not find any complex advanced strategies in this section, but it’s the best place to start!

Xerxes Rift Leveling Guides

The leveling guide in Rift will have you blazing through the levels really quickly. The elite gamers who write this guide have tested out several routes and found this to be the best. The best part is, you will get BOTH the Defiant and Guardian Leveling Guides in this section. This alone makes this Xerxes Guide completely worth it!

The details for questing, quest givers and their locations are explicitly explained here. The Xerxes Leveling Guide is awesome! I’m flying through the levels so fast that my buddies have been asking me lately whether I’m using cheat codes or hacks. :p

The screenshots in the Xerxes Rift Leveling Guide are the most helpful part of this guide. I waste any time in the game. Time is very precious to me after all.

Honestly, the Rift Class System almost nearly drove my completely crazy. Figuring out your Calling and Soul Trees in Rift can be incredibly confusing!!

I guess this is the real beauty of Rift itself. It’s so fluid, there really isn’t a ‘wrong’ way to build and spec your toon. The Xerxes Build Guide is a great way to understand your class and calling… and how souls can be combined to give you a really strong tank, damage dealer or healer.

I really enjoyed reading this section, though I didn’t follow it to the dot coz I like experimenting on this on my own.

FYI, the Xerxes Guide covers the all of the Rift character classes:- Rogue, Warrior, Cleric and Mage.

The guide teaches you exactly how to build your soul tree and recommends the best builds for questing/soloing, Rift PvPing, dungeons, etc. It’s all in there if you want the best strategies and tips.

Xerxes Detailed Game Maps

The detailed game maps under this section are so helpful, it’s ridiculous. Some of the older MMO games like WoW come with awesome add-ons that help you move about. Since Rift is still new, this section in the Xerxes Guide is really helps a lot. You won’t have to wander around lost and waste any precious gaming time.

In a nutshell, the Xerxes Guide is a really good quality leveling guide that lives up to my expectations. It’s really helped to enhance my gaming experience. Rift is a really really sick game. I’m totally hooked.

Xerxes Guide Scam?

Hey there and welcome to my blog on the Xerxes Rift Guide. these days, one cant be too careful. The internet is full of scammers who are out to steal your honest hard earned money.

So, when I found the Xerxes Guide online, my thought was “Is this a Xerxes Guide Scam? Is this Rift Leveling and Souls Guide all it’s hyped up to be?
